Mexico - Oaxaca III

The project Oaxaca III is part of the Oaxaca Wind complex. It consists of the installation of a 102 MW wind farm in southern Mexico, where 65% of electricity is generated from fossil fuels. The 68 turbines will provide 399,28 MWh of renewable electricity per year over a 20 year life span. The wind power plant contributes to the diversification of the national energy mix and to meeting the growing demand for electricity in rural areas. A social support plan is being implemented to contribute to local devolopment. The project will avoid on average of 231 751 tCO2eq per year.

Mexico - Oaxaca IV

Oaxaca IV, similar to Oaxaca III, consists in the installation of 102 MW of wind energy in south of Mexico, a country where 65% of the electricity is produced by fossil fuels. 68 turbines will provide 422 076 MWh of renewable electricity each year, for 20 years life-span. The wind farm contributes to the diversification of the national energy portfolio and to meeting the growing demand for electricity in rural areas. A social support plan is implemented to contribute to local development. The project will avoid on average 245 015 tCO2eq per year.

Brazil - Santa Clara et Eurus

This project will contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions by replacing electriciy production from fossil fuels by wind-power, providing the national grid. It consists to implement and explote seven newx installations to produce wind power, Santa Clara I, II, III, IV, V, VI et Eurus VI, situated in Parazinho, in Rio Grande de Norte State, in Brazil. It will employ 94 horizontal axis wind turbines, providing 726,712 MWh/year of renewable electricity. The project will avoid on average 331 582 tCO2eq each year.

India - Rajasthan

This project harnesses wind energy to generate electricity for sustainable development. The proposed project consists of a 32 wind generators for a total capacity of 25.6 MW in the State of Rajasthan, India. Each year, the project is expected to generate and supply 47, 318 MWh of electricity to the Rajasthan regional power grid, avoiding GHG emissions from fossil fuel plants and contributing to local development. This project will avoid on average 46 232 tCO2eq per year.
